Douching/Enema – How To?

Prior to any Strap On or Anal Play, outlined below is a general guide on how to give yourself a douching or enema.

Because it takes time for food to pass through the system you should alter your diet a day or so in advance of a play session.

Reduce the amount of fatty foods as they can take up to 36 hours to pass through your system.

During the day you intend to play, limit your intake of simple foods such as eggs and dairy.

Douching should be done at least two hours prior  to playing.

The desired end result  is to clean the lower  intestinal tract of any noticeable faecal matter, which can be irritating and has the capacity to spread diseases. The process involves progressive enemas/douching until the water expelled is clear.

Plain water enemas are best, unless you live in an area with a questionable water supply. Using a water temperature that is between lukewarm and body temperature, slowly take in as much water as you can, hold it for a while, if possible, and then expel it. Repeat the process until the water comes out clean

The time involved will vary based on the diet and depth of enema. Do not rush. The process can take anywhere from a few minutes to almost an hour. The goal is to clean out the intestinal tract, not to race to get ready for play. Even with thorough douching, there may be times that you need to stop play and clean further. Remember the body is a complex organism. We can not always have the body follow our wishes whenever we desire.  Nozzles attached to your shower are a simple method.  There can be rapid changes in water pressure and temperature so take any necessary precautions to prepare for this possibility of change.

Douche bag systems are available at local chemists or online stores.

There are several positions for douching/enemas and you should choose the position that is most effective and comfortable for you.

One popular position is to lie on your left side while douching. Since the descending colon is on the left side of the body, it is thought that introducing water while in this position aids in the cleansing process.

Being on your back is another position.

Some feel that being on your knees is effective because it promotes filling of the intestines and therefore is more effective in the cleansing process.

When you are relatively certain that you are clean, not all of the water may have been expelled immediately. Sometimes water gets trapped in portions of the intestinal tract and may take a few minutes to reach he lower colon to be expelled. It is a good idea to wait for a period of time after cleaning out before actually playing so the colon can absorb tiny amounts of water that were trapped and not expelled
