I would like to mention that I
make a distinction between rules and protocol. Rules are the founding
principles of a relationship, the obligations that what has been agreed to uphold.
Protocol includes aspects such as what he is wearing, how I want him to sit, and
when he should call me Mistress.
Respect is about mental/emotional
relations. Protocol is about actions. They can have no connection or a very
large one. Personally, I would never follow protocol of a Dominant I did not have
respect for.
