Chemical Play description

For some time now we've wanted to further explore urethral torture / CBT sensation play via chemical play. It has long been a fantasy of sol's and mine. I always liked it's potential, and was recently re-inspired by this great description on a Tribes thread on BDSM techniques"I love things that slowly heat and add to the intense buildup of heat via pain!"  Oh, yes....

Chemical play according to Wiki is "the use of balms and ointments such as Bengay, Icy Hot, Biofreeze, etc" (here in Australia we use Dencorub) to create sensations on a submissive's body during a BDSM scene. But it's more than that. This kind of sensation play can utilize a wide range of intense preparations / mild irritants, everything from menthol to toothpaste to wintergreen oil. We are also interested in using spices like cinnamon, eucalyptus, peppermint, chili peppers and ginger - spice play :). You can use these materials fresh or you can use condiments (including essential oils) made from them.

Because this type of play interacts with other sorts of play - and because chemical play often gets called different things - we are going to be touching on other topics such as Food Play, Spice play, Irritant play, Abrasion play, etc.
