The Old Guard Creed

This Creed mirrors the beliefs of the "greatest generation". Those that lived through WWII were the epitome of honor, loyalty and perseverance. In the US, some that returned were lost without the structure that the military provided. They found that they didn't "fit in" with the accepted sexual orientation of the day and were forced underground. They became known as the Old Guard... they had a Code of Honor that is worth mentioning here:

v                 We seek dynamic, safe, sane and consensual energy exchanges.

v                 We are Honest.

v                 We keep our word.

v                 We are Responsible.

v                 We help those who are willing to help themselves. (sic)

v                 We teach those who really want to learn and we respect our teachers.

v                 We freely express sincere respect, appreciation and affection because that builds energy.

v                 We try to avoid debates with those who have closed minds for that is a waste of energy.

v                 We respect relationships.

v                 We do not gossip, back stab or reveal the personal information of others.

v                 We are against bigotry, domestic abuse, child abuse, rape and government interference in our private lives.

v                 We are for individual freedom, personal responsibility, and public service.

v                 We do not bring into our inner circle those who do not strive to live by the above.

v                 We realize some fall short of some of these at times.

v                 There are correlations in these words with those that reluctant_slave mentioned some time ago... this is what we are all about!
